The Brekkie Ciabatta…
This weekend, we launched a new brekkie sandwich and it was a hit. Thick-cut bacon, havarti, fresh arugula, fried egg, caramelized onions, and sun-dried tomato aioli on a toasted ciabatta bun. The perfect way to start your morning.
What is Brekkie? In Australia, its everyday “slang” for breakfast of the first meal of the day. In the Caribbean, its the meal eaten in the middle of the day. At Homegirl Kitchen, it describes our first menu of the day offering our favorite breakfast and brunch creations.
The Maple Matcha French Toast is here to stay. Challah soaked in a maple custard and drizzled with a maple matcha cream sauce. Plus, topped with cardamom whipped cream and fresh berries. A literal dream and probably my favorite on the Brekkie menu.
